ALC has been allocated a large allotment at Church Field Allotments, Treherbert. The allotment consists of 3 large plots.

The Allotment needs a great deal of work and development to become suitable for use by our service users and to meet their specific needs.

We aim to develop a full working garden providing opportunities for skills development for young adults with autism and complex needs. This will be much needed, valuable work experience for our service users who may not otherwise have work experience opportunities.

The allotment will allow opportunites for enhancing mental and physical wellbeing, for service users and staff.

We aim to grow fruit and vegetables that can be harvested, prepared and cooked by our service users offering important life skills.

In time we hope that some of our produce can be shared with local community food banks and volunteer groups.
